Harm Reduction Policy Needs a Safe Landing Zone

Two truths can fit together
Health Canada says youth and people who do not smoke should not vape, while also describing vaping as a less harmful option for adults who cannot quit smoking with authorized aids and switch completely, according to Health Canada vaping information. Alberta policy has to hold both truths at once.
The safe landing zone
A safe landing zone means adults stay in regulated, age-gated channels while youth prevention and illegal-supply enforcement get stronger. Removing the visible adult channel without a replacement plan is not harm reduction.
